MAKE THE MOST OF THE SWEEMO COMMUNITY
This is where Sweemo users take time out.
It’s a place where you can share information, make comment and perhaps find new friends. You can research new interests, raise questions and share a laugh.
Home in on hot topics or browse the ever-changing scene. Make your mark or watch the story unfold. You’ll never be far from the inside track.
How it works
The first thing you see is a list of all the current topic threads in each of the main Sweemo categories – Entertainment, Adrenaline, Lifestyle and Travel. You will also see a few of the current threads in each category. Click on a thread to read the posts, or click on a category to dig deeper.
So if ‘Travel’ is your main interest, follow >more to see all the Travel topics. Or use the search feature across one of more categories.
Sometimes it’s good to browse, to follow a random idea wherever it goes. Our ’10 most commented’ listing tells you where the action is.
How to join in
Although anyone can read the Sweemo community threads, you’ll need to log in before you can reply to a message. That’s one way in which we protect community members.
If you have a password, go straight ahead and log-in. If you don’t, you’ll need to complete a profile in order to get your own password.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to see and use the ‘post a topic’ box on the first Community page. You’ll also be able to see and use the ‘post a reply’ boxes underneath every post.
Please remember that your post could be seen by any Sweemo user. It’s a good idea to read the Posting Guidelines before you post for the first time.
Posting Guidelines
Our rules for the Sweemo community are simple and few. We apply them for the benefit of all. This is an upbeat, helpful place where everyone who chooses to get involved should expect their contribution to be valued. Let’s keep a good thing going.
Rule 1
A little courtesy goes a long way in cyberspace. Please respect the opinions and dignity of others, as well as yourself. It’s nice to raise a smile, but not at another member’s expense.
Rule 2
The messages posted by and for community members should be regarded as personal opinion. Whatever is posted via your log-in is regarded as your personal responsibility.
Rule 3
Sweemo reserves the right to remove any post without warning or notification. We are only likely to do so if is breaks Rule 1, Rule 2 or the Small Print.
The Small Print
This is all about honesty, decency and plain common sense. Most Sweemo users would never dream of doing this stuff, but we all need to be aware of it. We just want to be clear that any or all of the following actions could get a member – and their posts - removed from the Sweemo.
Infringing other people’s rights, which includes:
• posting other people’s private emails
• posting copyrighted items without permission from the copyright holder
• posting other people’s contact details
• using derogatory language in a way which is likely to intimidate others
Improper conduct, which includes:
• posting words or images that are obscene or pornographic
• posting material containing profanity, vulgarity, threats or encouragement to harm others
• posting material by persons under the age of 18
• failing to follow any instructions you may receive from Sweemo staff
• posting material which claims or appears to have originated from Sweemo
• posting material that in any way undermines the character and philosophy of Sweemo
• re-posting material which Sweemo has already deleted
• making repetitive posts or taking other action which interferes with operation of the Sweemo site
• encouraging other people to do any or all of the above
If you feel that particular posts on the Sweemo community are breaking Rule 1, Rule 2 or are contrary to the sentiments expressed in The Small Print, please contact us at support@sweemo.com .
